Amy Rohrer, CAE has served as President & CEO of the Maryland Hotel Lodging Association since July 2015. She was hired by the organization in 2005 as the Membership Director and has taken on increasing responsibilities ever since, including oversight of operations, Government Affairs, events, membership and board development. Amy works closely with the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) and serves as their Partner State Executive in Maryland.
She has been certified by the American Society of Association Executives as a CAE – Certified Association Executive, since 2010. She previously served on the International Society of Association Executives (ISHAE) Board and remains active with the organization. Amy also serves on the Maryland Tourism Education Foundation Board of Directors.
Outside of work Amy enjoys spending time with family, boating in the Chesapeake, reading and travel.
