
Board Nominations
Calling for MTC Board Nominations to Serve 2025-2027
The Maryland Tourism Coalition invites nominations and self-nominations for At-Large Directors to serve on the MTC Board. Please review the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a current member of MTC in good standing
- Must attend at least TWO (2) in person board meetings
- The business member must be a member of MTC for at least one full year
- The nominee must have been with the business member for at least one year
- If a person is nominated by another member, the nominee will be contacted by a member of the Nominating Committee to confirm the nominee is willing to serve if chosen for the slate.
- Must be willing to sign the MTC Board of Directors Expectations
At-Large Directors shall serve for a period of two (2) years from the date of their election on November 18, 2025. A Director can serve up to three (3) consecutive terms, but then must go off the Board for at least one (1) year. Then, a member can be re-established onto the Board for another three (3) term cycle. First Board meeting will be December and will be virtual. We will meet as a full board monthly, mostly virtual with in person meeting in conjunction with MTC Signature Events. In person meetings average about 5 a year.
The deadline for nominations and self-nominations is Monday, September 8, 2025. The slate of candidates will be announced to the membership by October 17, 2025. The membership will vote on the final slate during the MTC Annual Meeting on November 18, 2025.
